며칠 전 생각지도 않은 택배가 도착했다.

별다른 당첨 안내 없이 아지트로에서 당첨 선물을 보냈던 것이다. 어쩌면 내가 확인을 못 했거나...

선물이라고 해서 전자기기였다면 더 좋았겠지만 "클로즈베타 테스터" 이벤트의 azitro 면티를 받을 수 있는 150명에 포함되어 도착했던 것이다.

아지트로 20분 사용기

일단 베타테스터 선택되면 SMS나 메일로 알려준다던 것이 하루가 지나서 메일이 왔다. 달랑 그림파일로..

베타테스터로 선정되었다고는 하지만 인증절차 같은 설명도 없고. 인증이야 테스터 신청할 때 입력한 정보와 회원가입 정보로 한다해도.. 저건..  왠지.. 성의없어 보인다고 할까;; 그림이 아니더라도 그냥 텍스트로 보낸 이메일이 오히려 나았을지도 모르겠다.

그리고 테스터의 수가 많다 하지만 도착한 이메일 주소도 내 이메일 주소가 아닌 다른 사람의 이메일 주소로 보이고... 물론 여러사람을 함께 보냈다 해도.. 테스터인데..

경품을 줄테니깐 하려면 하고 하기 싫으면 하지 말라는 얘긴가;;

그동안 관심이 많이 갔던 서비스였는데 테스트 메일 받고 기분 확 상해버렸다.ㅡㅡ;

회원가입을 하고 메인에 들어가니.. 예상했던 대로 activeX를 설치해야 했고 새창에 새창을 띄우기 때문에 새창을 탭으로 띄우도록 한 나에겐 상당히 귀찮은 작업.. (하나 하나 마음에 안들어..)

일단 로그인한 후에 본 메인 페이지의 화면은 깔끔해보였다.

물론 아직 테스트 기간이라 여백(?)이 많긴 한데.. 이건 나중에 아이템이 추가되고 사용자들이 많아지면 자연스레 채워질 공간이니 이해할 수 있을 듯...

이제 본격적으로 테스트를 위해 임대권이란 것을 구매하고 월드라는 곳을 들어가 보았다. 그리고 토지란 것도 사보고 건물이란 것도 지어보고 대충 여기저기 구경도 해보고. 아직은 사람들이 많지 않아 드문 드문 집들이 보였고 티저 사이트의 스크린샷에서 보았던 시청도 있었다.

그리고 개인 건물을 클릭하면 아지트라 불리는 일종의 블로그 페이지가 열린다.  게시판, 자료실, 방명록 등이 있는 기존의 블로그 형태의 페이지가.

자.. 아지트로의 구조를 정리해보자..

일단 월드라는 공간이 있고 이 월드에는 소피타운, 카멜타운, 머핀타운, 헬리아타운 이라 불리는 4개의 구역(?)으로 나뉘며 각각의 타운에 사용자가 건물을 짖고 그 건물을 꾸미며 건물을 클릭하면 해당 사용자의 아지트라 불리는 블로그로 연결.

사용하는 방법은 어렵지 않다. 그냥 마우스로 왔다갔다 하면 월드를 돌아 다닐 수 있고 다른 사용자가 꾸며놓은 건물들을 구경할 수 있으며 건물을 통해 다른 사용자의 아지트(블로그)로 갈 수 있다. 기존의 URL이나 아이디를 알지 못해도 공간적인 느낌으로 블로그를 이동 가능하단 얘기이다.

자신이 소유한 토지와 아지트룸이라 불리는 자신의 공간을 꾸밀 수 있으며 이를 위해서는 아이템이란 것을 구매해야 한다. 예를들어 건물이라든 아바타, 팻, 건물, 룸아이템
이런 아이템을 구입하는데 사용하는 화폐단위는 클립과 핀이다.
Azitro 서비스를 이용하실 때 필요한 사이버머니의 화폐단위입니다.
클립 1개의 금액은 100원이고, 핀 100개가 모이면 클립 1개와 같습니다.
아지트로에서 자신이 꾸밀 수 있는 공간은 두가지이다.
라고 아지트에서는 설명하고 있다.

결국 기존 싸이월드에서 미니홈피를 꾸미고 미니룸을 꾸미기 위해 도토리를 구입하고 그 도토리를 이용해서 아이템을 구입하여 꾸미는 것과 별반 다르지 않다. 다만 그 모양이 3차원으로 업그레이드라면 업그레이드 된 아이템이란 것. 물론 싸이월드에는 없던 사용자간의 아이템을 사고 파는 기능도 제공하는 듯 하다. 아직은 준비중이지만...

내심 제2의 싸이월드. 마이스페이스와 같은 서비스를 기대했었는데 적지 않은 실망감을 내게 주었다. 예전 블로그에도 남겼지만 예전의 채널아이의 플래닛과 다른 것이 없는 것 같다.
단순히 웹을 월드로 표현하고 홈페이지, 블로그의 접근 주소 혹은 아이디를 건물 단위로 표현하고 정작 건물을 클릭하면 블로그가 나오는 지극히 단순한 구조.

모든 아이템에 가격이 정해진 것을 보면서 수익에 너무 치중하지 않았나 싶다. 이래서는 싸이월드의 아류작이라는 생각만 들게 된다.

과연 건물들에 돈을 투자해가며 꾸밀만한 가치가 있을까... 아이템이 다양해질 것 같지도 않고 그렇다고 만족할만한 그래픽(?)도 아니고.. 게임처럼 Full 3D를 바랬던 것은 너무한가;;

블로그에서 아지트로 검색이 많아 지고 있다.

낚시성 제목처럼 보이긴 하지만 말그대로 내 블로그에 유입되는 검색 키워드로 아지트로가 많아졌다. 평소 한두개로 들어오던 유입수가 어제(28일) 6개로 늘어났고 결국 유입 검색 키워드 1위로 올랐다.

아마도 오늘(29일) 클로즈베타 오픈을 두고 검색이 늘어난 것 같다.

26일까지 모집하던 테스터를 26~28일까지 이메일이나 SMS로 당첨 여부를 알려준다고 하던데.. 떨어진듯.. 아직까지 이메일도 SMS로 온 것이 없으니..

그냥 정식 오픈하면 봐야겠다.

아직 티저사이트를 오픈한채 테스터들을 모집하고 있는 사이트가 있습니다.

아지트로에는 월드라는 공간이 있습니다. 그곳에는 강, 공원, 도로, 각종 건물 등이 있습니다. 그리고 각종 건물들은 자신의 역할(시청, 아이템샵 등)을 지니고 있으며 이는 아지트에서 사용자들 간의 커뮤니케이션을 위한 공간이라고 합니다. 그리고 토지를 구매하여 집을 짓고 나무를 심는 등의 정원 꾸미기를 할 수 있다고 합니다.

월드외에 아지트룸이라는 공간이 있으며 실내소품으로 자신만의 모습으로 꾸밀 수 있다는 점이 싸이월드의 미니룸과 비슷합니다. 하지만 미니룸의 경우 3D 처럼 보이는 2D이지만 아지트룸의 경우는 완전한 3D 형태를 지니고 있습니다.

개인적으로 아지트로라는 서비스는 싸이월드의 미니홈피와 채널아이의 플래닛 서비스를 합쳐 놓은 것 같습니다.

플래닛에 대해 잠깐 설명하면 지금은 없어졌지만 예전 모뎀으로 인터넷을 사용하던 시절 채널아이에서 제공했던 서비스입니다. 지금의 다음이 서비스하는 플래닛의 경우 미니홈피 형태의 서비스이지만 채널아이의 플래닛 서비스의 개념은 홈페이지 커뮤니티라고 보시면 됩니다. 다만 단순히 텍스트와 링크를 모아 놓은 것이 아닌 아지트로의 월드처럼 건물이 있고 도로가 있으며 건물을 클릭하면 해당 건물과 연결된 홈페이지로 연결되는 형태의 서비스입니다. 설명이 좀 어려운 것 같네요.

여하튼 티저사이트를 보면서 제가 생각한 아지트로의 수익 구조는 싸이월드와 같이 개인 공간을 꾸미는데 사용하는 아이템 구매를 통해 이루어질 것 같습니다. 다만 이를 웹기반이 아닌 별도의 구동 프로그램으로 접속을 한다거나 3D로 구현되어 고사양의 PC가 필요하다면 기존의 온라인 게임과 다른 점이 없다고 생각합니다. 또한 단순히 그래픽적인 요소만 첨가된 서비스가 아닌 차별화된 그리고 사용하기 쉽고 다양한 아이템을 제공해야할 것 같습니다.

아직 오픈하지도 안았고 베타서비스에 참여해보지 않은 시점에서 부족하다 성공한다 실패한다 라는 말을 하긴 힘들 것 같습니다. 하지만 사용하기 불편하고 화려하기만 한 서비스는 성공하기 힘들다고 생각합니다.
