홈2(C2) 정식 서비스 오픈

싸이월드 홈2의 공지사항에 따르면 25일인 내일 정식으로 서비스를 오픈한다고 합니다.

안녕하세요?
사이좋은 사람들, 싸이월드입니다.
베타 서비스 기간이었던 홈2 서비스가 4월 25일 정식 서비스를 시작합니다. 정식 서비스 시점에 변경이 되는 부분

1) 아이템
베타 기간 동안에 무료로 제공 되었던 홈2 아이템이 유료로 전환됩니다. 적용 중인 아이템 외 보관중이었던 홈2 아이템들은 소멸됩니다.
홈2에서 현재 적용중인 아이템은 15일을기준으로 사용기간이 15일 미만인 경우는 자동으로 15일 사용기간을 연장해 드립니다.
사용기간이 15일 이상인 경우는, 남은 기간 만큼 무료로 사용할 수 있습니다.
- 아이템을 선물 하였으나 상대방이 받지 않은 아이템은 소멸됩니다.
- 리드유저들을 대상으로 선물한 아이템은 없어지지 않습니다.

- 웹위젯 스킨

2) 사용성 개선
- 게시판 타입을 꾸미기 페이지에서 설정하던 것을 홈2 관리 메뉴에서 설정할 수 있도록 변경
- 메뉴효과,홈2 로고 설정 버튼을 꾸미기 화면 어디에서나 확인 가능
- 꾸미기 화면에서 스킨에 메인 이미지를 자유롭게 이동 가능
- 발도장 웹위젯에 번호 목록(페이징) 추가

3) 서비스 연동
- 네이트온과 홈2의 연동 (준비중)
- 광장 서비스를 홈2 캐릭터로 이용할 수 있습니다. (글쓰기,댓글쓰기)

4) 홈2 서비스 개별 이용약관 적용
- 베타 서비스 기간 동안 싸이월드 전체 회원 약관이 적용되었던것을 정식 서비스 오픈 시점에서 홈2 개별 서비스 약관 동의를 받는 절차를 거치게 됩니다.
일단 무료로 사용해왔던 스킨들과 같은 아이템이 유료화 되네요. 아직은 기존 미니홈피와 같이 다양한 아이템이 아닌점에 아쉬움이 많이 남습니다. 그동안 c2팩토리 등을 통해 버그나 새로운 제안사항들이 수정 후 오픈한다 하지만 아직까지도 블로그 스킨의 미니홈피라는 생각이 떠나질 않네요. 앞으로 미니홈피와 같은 성공적인 서비스가 될 수 있을지 지켜봐야겠습니다.

    원래 싸이의 작은 창도 좋아하진 않았지만
    홈2도 왠지 불편한 것 같더라고요.
    새로 시작하는 서비스여도
    워낙에 비슷한 형태가 많아서 말이에요.
    미니홈피의 선두주자였으니
    몬가 다른 것이 있지 않을까 싶지만..
    정말 에그님 말씀처럼 지켜봐야 할 일이에요.

      홈2가 기존의 미니홈피와 같은 인기를 얻을 수 있을지 모르겠어요.
      저도 미니홈피와 홈2계정이 둘다 있긴하지만 지금은 둘다 안하고 있다는..;;;

싸이월드만의 Web2.0

온라인 네트워크를 중심으로 한 블로그와는 달리 미니홈피는 오프라인에서의 인맥이 온라인으로 이어지고 더 나아가 확장되어 일촌간의 네트워킹을 만들고 이어주는 도구라고 생각합니다.

또하나. 미디어 로그 중심으로 구성된 블로그와는 달리 미니홈피는 지극히 개인적인 라이프 로그 중심의 내용들이 많습니다. 물론 미니홈피를 블로그처럼 사용하는 분들도 있지만 미니홈피 레이아웃의 성격상 긴글에 대한 포스팅은 적절치 않다고 생각됩니다. 따라서 별도의 블로그를 운영하고 개인적인 글들은 미니홈피를 이용하게 됩니다.

이러한 시점에서 싸이월드에서는 많은 관심속에 C2라는 서비스를 오픈하였고, 오픈베타 이전에 잠시 사용했을 때의 느낀점은 "어렵다" 였습니다. 많은 개선이 이루어졌다고는 하지만 제가 느낀 C2의 모습은 단지 블로그 스킨의 미니홈피였습니다. 다시말해 기능이 추가되고 화면이 넓어진 미니홈피의 모습에 불과했습니다.

위젯과 같은 여러 기능은 기존의 미니홈피를 사용했던 유저들에게 편리함과 다이나믹한 모습을 꾸밀수 있도록 하였지만 오히려 새로운 인터페이스에 적응해야하는 시간을 늘렸습니다. 또한 기분에 따라 스킨만 바꾸면 새로운 모습으로 미니홈피를 바꿀 수 있었지만 홈2에서는 위젯의 레이아웃까지 신경써야하는 불편함이 추가되었습니다.

글쎄요. C2는 기존의 미니홈피만의 아기자기한 모습과 편리함을 잃어버리고 개인적인 공간. 싸이월드만의 공간이 아닌 단순히 Web2.0의 흐름에. 커다란 흐름에 뒤쳐지지 않기위한 방법이 아니었을까라는 생각이 듭니다. 싸이월드는 네이버 블로그나 티스토리 등의 블로그 모습만을 지향하기 보다는 이미 가지고 있는 일촌이라는 데이타와 개인적인 공간이라는 주제를 가지고 단순히 Web2.0 기능 구현이 아닌 싸이월드만의 Web2.0을 만들었으면 합니다.
