정식 Full 명칭은 "웹 어플리케이션 컨퍼런스 2007". 더이상 부연 설명은 안해도 될 것 같고 사전 등록 마지막 날까지도 한참동안 참가하느냐 안하느냐 고민을 하다가 갑작스럽게 아르바이트가 생겨버리는 바람에 등록 포기를 외치다가 KTX를 타고 오면 대전도 지방으로 인정하여 등록비를 면제해 준다는 Channy님의 말씀에 혹해서 등록을 해버렸다. 물론!!! 등록비 면제 때문에 등록을 한 것은 아니지만 전혀 아니라고는 말 못하겠다.
오전 워크샵은 리치 인터넷(RIA)의 미래를 신청했고 오후 컨퍼런스와 비전 나잇도 신청하긴 했는데 과연 비전 나잇까지 들을 수 있을지는 모르겠다. 신청해 놓고 안들으면 안듣거나 못들으면 어찌되려나...
그리고 미투데이에서 지금까지 barcamp 등과 같은 행사에서 제공했던 프로모션 페이지를 이번 웹앱스콘 때에도 제공한다. 무선 인터넷도 제공되어 노트북이 있다면 실시간 중계가 가능할 것 같다. 물론 노트북이 있긴 하지만 서울까지 이 녀석과 함께 하기도 걱정되고 무엇보다 2시간도 못 버틸 베터리와 다른 맥북 유저들의 간지를 이겨낼 자신이 없으므로 미안하지만 혼자 가야겠다. 다만 얼마전 구입한 카메라를 가져가고는 싶지만 사진 찍으러 가는 것이 아닌 공부하러 가는 것인데 가져 가는 것도 이상하고 담아갈 가방도 마땅하지 않다. 또 두 주먹을 합쳐도 모자란 카메라를 가져 가기 위해 뚱뚱한 카메라 가방을 가져가는 것. 이건 아니자나...
결국 메모할 수 있는 수첩이나 다이어리를 달랑 들고 갈지도...
다른 분들은 어떻게 가려나...
