유무선 FON 공유기 "라 포네라 플러스" 설치기
Posted 2007/09/09 01:32, Filed under: 리뷰지난 8월 6일부터 9월 2일까지 미투데이에서 유무선 FON 공유기 "라 포네라 플러스" 출시 기념 이벤트를 하고 있었습니다. 저도 우연한 기회로 당첨되어 얼마 전에 FON 공유기를 받았습니다.
다국어 버전으로 만들어진 설명서가 첨부되어 설치는 어렵지 않았습니다.
그리고 굳이 설명서를 보지 않더라도 구성품 또한 간단하기 때문에 그냥 전원만 공유기에 연결하면 자동으로 미리 설정된 세팅으로 되더군요.
다만 기존에 사용 중인 공유기가 있다면 아이피에 대한 충돌이 있을 수 있기 때문에 FON 공유기나 기존에 사용 중이던 공유기의 아이피를 다시 설정해 주어야 했습니다.
그리고 제가 사용하는 무선랜 카드의 드라이버 버전이 낮아 FON에서 사용하는 WPA를 지원하지 않는다는 것을 모르고 개인영역인 My Place에 접속이 되지 않는다고 한참이나 삽질을 해야 했습니다. 다른 분들은 이점 확인하셔서 저 같이 삽질하는 일이 없도록 하세요. ^^;
방금 전에 말씀드린 WPA에 대한 문제 해결 방법으로 가장 간단한 방법은 
사용하는 WiFi 장비인 랜카드의 네트워크 인증 설정을 WPA로 설정하시고 만약 해당 인증법이 없다면 해당 장비의 드라이버를 최신 버전으로 업데이트하시면 추가됩니다.
경우에 따라서 해당 드라이버가 존재하지 않거나 지원되지 않을 수 있습니다. 이럴 땐 FON 공유기의 인증 방법을 바꿔주시면 됩니다. 유선으로 공유기에 접속하여(해당 설명은 링크로 이동해서 참고하세요) 인증 방법을 수정하면 됩니다.
FON 공유기의 경우 다른 공유기와 마찬가지로 network setting이나, port forwarding에 대한 설정 기능도 제공합니다.

무선말고도 유선의 경우는 인증에 대한 설정없이 바로 사용할 수 있습니다.
