DOM Scripting 한국어판 출간
Posted 2007/07/17 21:00, Filed under: 리뷰Jeremy Keith의 DOM Scripting이 "다이나믹 웹 표준 사이트를 위한 DOM 스크립트" 라는 이름을 가지고 한국어판으로 나왔습니다. 번역은 Channy님께서 하셨습니다. 지금 Channy님 블로그에서 트래백 이벤트를 진행하고 계시는군요.
사실 원서보다는 블로깅을 통해 한국어판의 소식을 먼저 듣게 되어 책의 구성이나 난이도 등을 알지 못했습니다. 그래서 생각난 김에 겸사겸사 서점을 가보았습니다.
우선 재고가 있는지 찾아보았더니 다행히 1권이 있더군요. 서점에 프로그래밍 관련 책이 많지는 않았지만 분야별로 잘 나누어있지 않아 찾는데 좀 힘들었습니다. 여하튼 간신히 찾아내서 핸드폰으로 표지를 살짝 찍어 보았습니다.
그리고 책의 구성이나 예제 등을 보았지요. 시간이 많지 않아 찬찬히 자세하게 살펴볼 수는 없었습니다.
일단 느낌은 자바스크립트의 변수 선언 등을 시작으로 기초적인 내용부터 실제 예제를 구현해 나가는 방식으로 구성되어 있고 소스를 개선하는 과정도 소개되어 있었습니다.
대체로 쉬운 내용의 예제와 구성입니다. 하지만, XHTML+CSS+SCRIPT로 나누어 마크업에 대한 설명과 이유 그리고 반드시 알아두어야 할 사항들의 접근 방법이 자세히 설명되어 있었습니다.
짧은 시간이라 책에 대한 구성과 난이도를 정확히 알 수는 없었지만 웹 프로그래밍을 배우기 시작하는 사람이나 웹 프로그래밍을 오래했던 사람이라도 웹 표준이나 접근성에 대해 입문하는 사람 혹은 스크립트를 좀 더 체계적으로 프로그래밍하려는 사람들이 보면 좋은 책이라고 생각된다. 만박님 말씀대로 교과서적인 책.
음.. 한국어판 특별 부록이 참 마음에 드네요.
